Series 1: Adaptive Scheduling and Pacing Strategies
Series Introduction
Learning does not happen at the same pace for every learner, nor does every learning activity need to occur at the same time. Adaptive scheduling and pacing explore how educational content and tasks can dynamically respond to learner progress, performance, readiness, engagement, and cognitive demand.
This series examines how learning activities can be sequenced, timed, accelerated, slowed, revisited, or reinforced to create more responsive and personalised learning pathways. It considers both the learner signals that inform adaptation and the strategies that translate those signals into meaningful changes in learning progression.
